Trainings for EU Contact Points and Fishermen Has Been Completed Successfully
Within the scope of our project, our trainings for the stakeholders, who played a role in local development, and our on-site practices for the fishermen involved in the Project area have finished.
The course which were planned for the beneficiary of our stakeholders involved in local development started in December 2019. Trainings planned in three different topics such as The Fundamentals English, EU Funds and those available for Turkey and Role of Fisheries Funds in the Local Development of the European Union. Italian EU Trainer Mr. Massimo Bellavista Assoc.Prof Ahmet Raif ERYAŞAR and English Teacher Sinan Dilekçi were gave the course which lasted 80 hours in total. 14 people attended the courses, and EU contact points were created.
Our Fishery Trainings, which started at the end of December at the Rize Gündoğdu Fishermen’s Shelter, continued at the Kirazlık Fishermen’s Shelter in Pazar district until the end of January and both were finally completed. Each basic level English course in two cooperatives, the Cooperative Management, Fisheries Acquis and the EU-Turkey organized courses in fishing tourism issues with the Compliance Process was submitted to the benefit of the fishermen. The courses, which were attended by the president and members of the fisheryb cooperatives, took 140 hours in total and 20 people participated. Each course was given by it sspecialist such as Mr. Massimo Bellavista, Assoc.Prof. Ahmet Raif ERYAŞAR, Mr. Sinan Dilekçi and Gençişi Cooperative (from İzmir) members.
